This page presents the initiatives and petitions led or supported by ACHED to end clock changes, abandon summer time (UTC+2) and move back toward France’s natural time zone.
🔒 The National Assembly petition requires identification (FranceConnect).
For decades, our association has warned about the effects of clock changes and time advancement on health, sleep, social life, energy and climate. This page presents, in particular, the initiatives launched by ACHED and aims to guide the public toward the available ways of showing support.
There is a consensus in favor of ending clock changes, but the choice of which time to keep remains blocked. Clarifying this debate is essential in order to avoid decisions that would be harmful to health, sleep and climate.
An initiative led by the association before the French National Assembly. Participation requires identification as a French citizen (via FranceConnect). Its aim is to call for a reassessment of legal time, a return to the natural geographical time zone, and an end to clock changes.
🔒 Identification required (FranceConnect)
